You Can Be the Difference
On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks, an African American, was arrested for violating an Alabama law requiring black passengers to relinquish seats to whites when the bus was full. Her arrest ignited a year long boycott of the Montgomery bus system and led to the 1956 Supreme Court decision banning segregation on public transportation.
Rosa Parks is an example of what one person can do. You were made from the same stuff as Parks. She had the power to change the world and so do you.
Encouragement Always.
